Happy Monday!

As of today, all packages are ready to go. The last wave will be picked up today by USPS and be in transit (it's mostly non-US backers). 

Some details:

If you have an issue, you can reach out to us at [email protected]. Sometimes packages don't ship or backers don't get emails. There's usually a few reasons why:

• Outdated Email: The most common reason is a change in email that isn't reflected in BackerKit! This is a pretty easy fix.
• Shipping not paid: The second biggest reason is that checkout wasn't completed and shipping wasn't paid. If this wasn't done, then your package didn't ship.
• Our fault: And finally, we do make mistakes and as such sometimes packages don't go out. Please reach out if you're concerned.

Finally, if you have any other issues, you can reach us at [email protected] and we'll sort you out. We always want you to walk away happy and we do our best to ensure you get what you were promised.

Unless something dramatic changes, this will be the last update we post here! We do still watch the comments!

Over the next few weeks, we'll roll excess product into our webstore at shop.gallantknightgames.com (we always wait to ensure we have enough product to replace any issues).

Shipping Update!

Hey folks!

Quick update on shipping. As of Monday, all the books are now at the GKG warehouse (ie. my garage!)

We needed to give some backers extra time to sort their addresses as per BackerKit's set up and rules, so you should have just now gotten a 48 hour email notice from BackerKit to finalize your address!

We'll be printing invoices and sorting things this week, so expect to see packages coming out next week.

Books Arriving Soon! Shipping to start next week!

Hey folks!

The books should be arriving today!

First, tonight we're going to lock down addresses (like we said we would in the last update) and charge your backerkit cards for shipping. If you need to adjust an address, you'll have to reach out to [email protected]. We handle these emails manually, so please don't reach out unless it's to adjust an address or for a serious shipping concern.

Second, we've begun prepping the packaging (we started that a few weeks ago actually.) We're going to ensure these books arrive nice and safe for you.

Third, early next week, we'll start shipping! Here's how this is going to work.

• We upload the addresses to our Stamps.com shipping tool
• We then begin printing labels. When we print your label, the email we have on file (the BackerKit email) will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number from Stamps.com.
• It can take several days between the notification email arriving and the package actually starting to move (we package as many as we can and then have USPS come pick them up in order to maximize our time packing.) Don't panic if it takes a few days for the package to show up as "in transit" or with any data other than "Shipping Label Generated". That's all very normal.
• Once USPS picks up the packages, we're set and they're on their way!

A few notes:

We tend to prioritize the faster, easier packages up front. This means "Book Only" packages are likely to go out first, and if you have add-ons, multiple items, or the Deluxe pledge, you likely won't get an email for a week or two.

The reason why we do it this way is twofold:

• First, we inspect and hand pack every package and item. While this doesn't guarantee it will be free of defects, we do our best to do a final check and catch them before they go out.
• Second, after nearly 20 Kickstarters, we've learned that doing the easiest, quickest bits first means we're more accurate with the complicated or multiple item orders that take time, and we can make sure the bulk of the books are in the mail as fast as possible.

We tend to do Domestic then International. So, the likely flow is this:

• Domestic Book Only
• International Book only
• Domestic Deluxe & Packages w/ lots of Add-Ons
• International Deluxe & Packages w/ lots of Add-Ons

We anticipate this process taking 2-4 weeks (maybe a tad longer, it can be hard to tell, though I feel our 4 week estimate is more than enough.)

If you need help, reach out to [email protected]. Please don't reach out just to ask where you are in the queue or worry that your package hasn't shipped. We'll post an update once we've got everything out and at that point if you've not received a shipping notification, we'll work with you to get your package out ASAP.

Books Shipping to GKG!

Hey folks!

The books are shipping to us. This means you need to confirm your address in BackerKit by Friday. If you need to get access to the BackerKit (it's been a bit), simply go to this link: https://nighty-knights.backerkit.com/ and use the email you signed up with to confirm your address.

We will be locking down address Friday evening (7 PM Mountain time, GMT -6) so please, please, have your addresses in by then as it's a very manual process, and every address change takes time away from shipping. 

IMPORTANT: THIS MEANS YOU WILL BE CHARGED ON FRIDAY EVENING/SATURDAY MORNING FOR YOUR SHIPPING. Please ensure your card is up to date.

We're currently shipping another project, but we're on track to finish quickly and get right into Knights of the Underbed (likely this weekend or early next week.) We'll update you Friday or Saturday with shipping steps and how this will go!

Hey everyone, 

We're still waiting for the book printing plant to confirm things are done. We've approved the proofs, so we're just waiting on the final product shipping to us. 

The plant has had setbacks due to covid-19 so things are taking a while (we have three projects that are waiting for books to be shipped to us that are delayed.) 

We know more delays are frustrating but we're doing our best to keep things moving. We're checking in with the planet regularly to see if they have any updates for us and as soon as the books ship, we'll let you know, we'll confirm addresses in backerkit (you'll be able to adjust yours) and we'll process the shipping.
